On 1 December 1978, the day their first compilation Wings Greatest was released, Wings recorded the unreleased track ‘Space Tune’.
Little is known about the recording, and it may have been related to the similarly-titled ‘Space Jam’, which also originated during the Back To The Egg album sessions.
Several songs were also mixed during this session, including both ‘Space Tune’ and ‘Space Jam’, plus ‘Getting Closer’ and the unreleased ‘Cage’.
