‘Famous Groupies’ was mixed in stereo for Wings’ sixth studio album London Town on 16 January 1978.
Paul McCartney also attempted to mix the album’s closing song, ‘Morse Moose And The Grey Goose’, but it was set aside until the final mix was created on 20 January.
The other songs on the album still requiring mixes were ‘I’ve Had Enough’, ‘Deliver Your Children’, and ‘Don’t Let It Bring You Down’.
