Recording, mixing: I’ve Had Enough by Wings

Studio Two, Abbey Road Studios, London
Producer: Paul McCartney
Engineer: Geoff Emerick

Wings finished recording the song ‘I’ve Had Enough’ for their sixth studio album London Town on 30 November 1977.

Paul McCartney and Denny Laine overdubbed electric guitar parts, and McCartney added Mellotron with the pipe organ setting, and handclaps. He then hastily finished writing the lyrics and recorded his lead vocals, which took several takes to complete.

The song was then mixed in stereo, although it wasn’t used on the album. The final mix of ‘I’ve Had Enough’ was made on 19 January 1978.
