Wings rehearsed in Nashville, Tennessee, on 21 June 1974.
The rehearsals took place at the farm owned by songwriter Claude ‘Curly’ Putman Jr. Wings stayed at the farm, which they rented for $2,000 a week, and rehearsed in the garage.
This afternoon saw an argument between Linda McCartney and guitarist Jimmy McCullogh, who openly criticised her lack of musicianship. It was a sticky subject for the McCartneys, and had been one of the reasons why previous guitarist Henry McCullough parted company with Wings.
The breakdown in band relations troubled Paul McCartney, who temporarily cancelled the rehearsal. The following day he again cut the session short to go for a solo walk. The next full rehearsal was on 24 June.
