John Lennon and Paul McCartney met for dinner in New York City on 13 December 1970.
McCartney had met George Harrison in the city the previous week, and was readying his lawsuit to request the dissolution of The Beatles’ partnership almost ready to file.
Their conversation was reportedly cordial, with Lennon wanting to discuss the Maclen/Northern Songs financial issues, raising the notion that he and McCartney might be owed some royalties following the sale to ATV.
