Apple Corps holds its first annual general meeting

All four Beatles attended the first annual general meeting of Apple Corps on 21 August 1969.

The meeting took place at Apple’s HQ, 3 Savile Row, London. The Beatles had almost finished recording the Abbey Road album, and there were various business interests and projects to discuss. Among the likely topics was ATV’s attempted takeover of Northern Songs. Since The Beatles sold their shares in NEMS Enterprises less than a week later, it is likely that a decision to do so was also made on this day.
