The fifth night of The Beatles’ UK tour with Roy Orbison, and a performance at the Odeon Cinema in Nottingham.
This was The Beatles’ first performance at the Odeon in Nottingham. They returned on two subsequent occasions, 12 December 1963 and 5 November 1964.
As with the other dates on the Roy Orbison tour, The Beatles performed a seven-songs set: ‘Some Other Guy’, ‘Do You Want To Know A Secret’, ‘Love Me Do’, ‘From Me To You’, ‘Please Please Me’, ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ and ‘Twist And Shout’.
