I won't give up too much information, in case there are stalkers driven mad with admiration for me.
I'm a minor who had a recent birthday! (It was before Paul's but after George's. That's all I'll say.) I live close enough to go to the Paul concert on July 13th.
I have 3 siblings (all younger than I am) who are all going to the Paul concert with our family. Their code names are, from oldest to youngest: Polythene Dan, Bungalow Jill, and JoJo. We have a Beatles "game" where we pretend to be the Beatles. I'm

I'm not really new, but I haven't posted on here, and when I haven't posted on a thread, I start to feel impure.

Hi, I'm new here 
I guess this is the place to introduce myself right? Well I'm currently 13 years old (14 on 19th of August), I'm from Sweden and well I'm a relatively new fan I guess, because I first started listening to The Beatles for real about a year ago I think (wow time really flies!) and I've been completely obsessed, haha! I have all the albums, movies etc. + some posters, buttons, bracelets and so on… I've been looking for Beatle forums and sites for days and this is really the best one I've found! My passions in life would be music and art…I paint alot and have a few paintings, I'm also thinking about doing a Beatles painting! I play the guitar and the very first songs I learned to play was Get Back and Let it Be . I got into The Beatles by just sitting infront of the computer, bored out of my mind so I decided to listen to some bands I've never heard before…now my parents like The Beatles but aren't really fans, I was raised on Elvis and David Bowie for the most part but anyway I typed in Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds on youtube and listened to the whole Sgt Pepper album and I remember being totally blown away that music could actually be this good! So I went to the record store the next day with my mom and bought their first album Please Please and played it over and over again for the whole week, haha and now I'm known as the Beatle-girl in school. I guess that's my Beatles story in a nutshell. My favorite Beatle is John by the way…I love them all equally much but since I like Johns solo career the most I picked him

Welcome to the forum!! Have you checked the Beatles Anthology? They went to Sweden and there's some footage of the Beatles performing in a Sweden TV show called Drop In!

Thanks for the welcome I'm sure I'll turn into a regular visitor haha it's addictive really! (Everything with The Beatles is addictive, haha) bacon-laser fun sounds like a blast . That is weird actually, maybe there's something special with that week? Ringos son Jason is born on 19th of august as well! Coincidence? I think not

Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce myself here at the Beatles Bible. I came across the site via Google (I believe?) and have been browsing the entire site – the song and article pages mostly – for several days now and have finally decided to join in on the discussion! First of all, I wanted to mention that I love this site, Joe. The main site – where the articles are – is fantastic. It's very easy to navigate, read, and is extremely informative. You have just about a little bit of everything for us fans.
I'm Chris, currently 19, and living in Richmond, Indiana, USA. For people outside the USA that may not know, Indiana is in the "Midwest" region of our country. Richmond is a moderately-sized city here in America. Our population is around 30,000. I'm looking to getting a job in photography right now and learning guitar!
I've been a monsterous Beatles fan for quite a few years now. You probably already have threads for some of this stuff, but I figure it's good for an introduction anyway. I first discovered the Beatles after I overheard my dad playing "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and asked him to put it on a "mix" tape for me. This was when I was only a young kid and didn't have the same amount of interest in music that I do now! I remember listening to that song over and over, consistently being entertained beyond my wildest imagination. The Beatles were like no artist I had ever heard before. It wasn't until 3-4 years ago that I heard "Run for Your Life" playing on a CD my dad made when I asked him, "Hey dad, can you tell me what Beatles songs you like?" It was common place for my dad to recommend and share songs with me. This was my first major run-in with the Beatles. I ripped a variety of different tracks from every album he had (at this time, we had the now-crappy 1990s master CDs) and listened to them constantly. I got away from the Beatles for a while, only to majorly get back into them with the remastered tracks. I had always liked the Beatles, but little did I know, they would soon practically become my life. I've recently been rather obsessed with them, reading just about everything I can that I find interesting on them and listening to their songs whenever I get a chance! It's funny because, now at times, my parents tell me to listen to other artists and they love the Beatles themselves!
Anyway, thank you for this wonderful site and I hope to become an active member.
