I’d say this song nicely describes me right now.

I think that’s true of me also. Since I first heard this song the first time I listened through the whole White Album , it didn’t hit me as hard because there was so much great stuff surrounding it. It was so close after WMGGW and HIAWG which are pretty much the best on the album, and I enjoyed Martha My Dear , then this song came on and I wasn’t as impressed as I should’ve been.

Johns vocal is really great, I love the music, lyrics, and execution. It’s just a great song. Gets stuck in my head all the time… Usually when tired.

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

Can buy Joe love!

Yeah it’s the same for me. I wasn’t that impressed with it, and I’m stil not really like ”woooah” about it, but I can appreciate it now. It’s a good song.

John really knows how to write great songs about being tired and sleeping.

During my librarian duties today, I ended up looking at Proceedings and debates of the British parliaments … v.1 1542-1688.

Look how they spelled Walter Raleigh’s last name.

I’ve always really resonated with this one emotionally, one of my favourite White Album cuts

although i’m so tired i’ll have another cigarette

wonder should I get up and fix myself a drink

as a person struggling with addiction living on the east coast after several years on the west, this song is unbelievably relatable

What I appreciate about this song is not just the way it appeals to everyone, but the way John matches the melody’s vibe. I feel like he means what he’s singing, and that’s important.
