Paul and Linda McCartney visit John Lennon

Paul and Linda McCartney visited John Lennon and May Pang on 15 January 1975.

Lennon was living with Pang in an apartment at 434 East 52nd Street in Manhattan, New York City. The McCartneys were travelling to New Orleans to record the Wings album Venus And Mars.

Lennon had intended to record with the McCartneys in New Orleans, but he reconciled with Yoko Ono shortly before it was due to happen.

The very week we were supposed to go to New Orleans to visit Paul and Linda who were recording there – and John would write with Paul again – John went back to the Dakota.
