John Lennon and May Pang moved into a Santa Monica beach house on 27 March 1974.
The sessions for Harry Nilsson’s Pussy Cats album were about to begin at the Record Plant in Los Angeles, and as its producer Lennon wanted to keep the musicians in check. His solution was to house them under one roof.
The house was situated at 625 Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, California 90402. Lennon and Pang had the master bedroom, while Ringo Starr and Klaus Voormann each had smaller rooms. Keith Moon moved in on 10 April.
