John Lennon and Yoko Ono edited their film Fly on 16 December 1970.
The filming had taken place in New York City two days before. The film depicted a fly crawling on the prostrate naked body of an actor, Virginia Lust.
Fly was edited at Lennon and Ono’s suite at the Regency Hotel in NYC. A Steenbeck editing system was installed in the suite, where they had recorded the vocals and acoustic guitar soundtrack.
