OfflineI find it very very difficult to read about the Double Fantasy period knowing whats going to happen and generally dont. Just in those songs alone there is a joy and a hope of what was to come and where John was and its very difficult for me to bring it all together so the interviews John gave make it so much harder. Nobody Told Me, Im Losing You, Watching The Wheels, Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy), Borrowed Time, Im Stepping Out, I Dont Wanna Face It, Just Like (Starting Over) are such a great tracks but tinged with a lot of what could have been, not just for the fans but even more for John, Sean and Yoko and everyone connected to their inner circle.

OfflineIt's impossible to pick one, as someone said above, but just to be mischievous, I'll say "You Are Here" -- not because I don't consider it one of his very best, but because it's doubtlessly perceived to be a lightweight song, even though to me, its beauty and South Pacific lilt raises it above the ordinary.
