I don't know what he would think. I'd like to imagine that he would get a kick out of this Forum, though.

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

I think he would like to pretend he didn't care, but really he would be on the internet looking at all the old interviews and reading people's opinions. Reminds me of how he was so over the Beatles legacy in the 70s, but he still sent people out to buy memorabilia. He downplayed his relationships with the others, but he was still peeved when George didn't mention him enough in I, Me, Mine, and he watched the James Paul McCartney special.

WWJT? Can we put that on a wristband?
But I think John would have mellowed quite a bit by this time so he probably would think it’s funny. In some of his interviews, Johh talked about having the “artistic trip” where he would always want to make better music than he previously made and so that’s why he had so many sort of negative comments about the whole Beatles thing. But at a certain point you’d have to figure that he would just be able to look at what they did together and just marvel at what happened there because it’s truly remarkable and unprecedented.
We all like other bands, but how many other bands or artists have inspired this sort of forum and attention? So that’s what makes the Beatles so unique and I would just hope that John could get to the point where he could really be proud of what they did and what they continue to inspire after all this time.

He couldn’t possibly sound worse than Mick or Dylan.

I think he would be advertising the music of Sean and Julian. “They are f*ckin better than I ever was! Now, buy their CDs”.

OT: Is it correct to say Sean's and Julian's music, or should it be Sean and Julian's music?

The latter.
