Wings re-recorded the Wings At The Speed Of Sound song ‘Beware My Love’ on 23 January 1976.
They had recorded an early version of the song on 28 August 1975, reworked it on 17 October, and recorded 14 rehearsal takes on 22 January.
On this day they recorded 21 new takes, numbered 15-35, although only nine were complete. Take 19 was marked “not far off”, and 22 was “pretty good, best yet”. However, on reflection they returned to the best recording from 17 October, adding it to the tape reel and marking it take 20. More work on ‘Beware My Love’ would follow in the coming days.
