Paul and Linda McCartney recorded their vocals for the Ram song ‘3 Legs’ on 18 January 1971.

This was Linda’s first vocal overdub session, and it took some time and encouragement for her to complete the work.

Linda hadn’t done much singing before, and obviously there were some arguments about bum notes. We’d fight about Linda singing flat. I’d say she was flat, and she’d plead ‘I know’ in an exasperated voice. But it always worked out in the end.

During the session Paul also added an electric guitar part to the song.
