I am 1/2 excited – looking forward to picking up the first one – I was gonna buy it anyway.
As for II, probably not. I'm not “dissing” it (do people still say that?). It's just, for me, the first 2 tracks make three words come to mind…

Great question.
I have always been a Beatles fan. I am just now (as you said, within the past year or so) becoming a fan of the boys individually.
That is, I've always liked most of the solo stuff I've heard, but am just now expressing an interest in buying it. Even then, I don't care to have all of it – just what I think I'd like.
