In the studio

‘All By Myself’ was recorded on 8 August 1974 at Sunset Sound Recorders in Los Angeles, with overdubs following on 17 September.

The only pop-in was on ‘All By Myself’. Alvin Robinson is an old New Orleans guitar player and a friend of Dr John’s. He stopped in and I had him play on that.
