Ok, I’m going to stick to the original intent of the thread, which is to list our ideal setlist for a reunion concert the Beatles could have done before John’s death, with a 20 song cap and with no solo work. Note that this isn’t my 20 favourite Beatles songs, rather those that I think would work best in this context while at least touching on the different phases of their career (though admitedly the setlist is skewed towards their later work).
So here goes.

One thing I must ad, is although I’ve never seen the Beatle tour live, I’ve seen soooooo many Tribute Bands and I’d like to see the Beatles do a “Let It Be Comeback Tour”, without the costume changes like the early Beatlemania matching suits, then the Shea Stadium suits, then the Pepper costumes, etc….
Just them dressing individually like they did on the Rooftop! Some Tribute acts should actually do this….
As to what songs they would play, there are just too many to chose from!!!

I’m going to do this as a possible reunion concert The Beatles could have done in 95-96 at the time of the Beatles Anthology, if John had lived. I’m also not going to stick to the 20-song limit, rather going with a 50-song concert.
Note that rather than pick all of my favorites, I tried to be representative of the Beatles career as a whole, their UK singles (except ‘Love Me Do ‘) and many of their other most important and popular songs.
First Set
01. Drive My Car
02. Come Together
03. Taxman
04. Can’t Buy Me Love

08. With A Little Help From My Friends
09. Hello, Goodbye

12. From Me To You
13. A Hard Day’s Night
14. Lady Madonna
15. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
16. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
17. I Am The Walrus
18. Octopus’s Garden
19. Don’t Let Me Down
20. Nowhere Man
21. I’m Down

That is a fantastic set-list, @Left Turn!
Where is 29? May I suggest I Wanna Be Your Man or Octopus’s Garden , as you’ve only included one Ringo song?

OK – here’s the set-up.
The Beatles come back for a reunion concert (let’s say it’s pre-December 1980) – give us your dream set – say up to 20 songs – no solo numbers – only Beatle songs.
It’s a toughie!

I don’t think so, though if we aren’t bound by reality, could give Paul some wings while we’re at it.

I wrote all my favourite songs I wanted and there were a 50 song list so here’s a condensed version that wouldn’t make the concert last three hours (even though that would have been wonderful). The songs are in order of their career though, from babies to older. I’m also not counting Golden Slumbers , Carry That Weight and The End as separate songs because c’mon. I also really wanted to add In Spite Of All The Danger , but, I decided against it as I’m classing that as pre Beatles.
01. I Saw Her Standing There
02. Devil In Her Heart
03. And I Love Her
04. Things We Said Today
05. No Reply
06. I’ll Follow The Sun

George: Lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar on Here Comes The Sun
Ringo: Lead Vocals, drums and percussion
Billy Preston: piano and keyboard
