My favorite Beatle is definately Paul. He’s been my favorite ever since the first time I saw A Hard Day’s Night when I was three. In my opinon, he rote the best songs, althogh That’s a reel close call because John has alot of good songs to. (So does George, but as a Beatle, it’s not fare to compare his songs with Paul and John’s songs) Also, as I believe George Martin once said, if it werent for Paul, they probably wouldn’t have recorded most the songs they did after 1966, and Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper ‘s are two of my favorites! I also LOVE Revolver , which is mostly Paul songs, all of which I love. Another reason is becuse of the for of them, I like Paul’s solo stuff the best, but he does have some pretty weird songs (i.e. Average Person) but I think that those songs give the album more character, because I think those kind of songs ar more of jokes anyway(hopefuly). How versatile Paul is is another reason why he is my favorite, howe he can write a crazy song like I’m Down or a grate granny shit music song like Honey Pie , and he can sing them with grateness. And because wen they would play on the Ed Sullivan Show or wherever else, he always looked so happy and confident in himself. And the last reson I’ll say is that I think Paul’s the cuter, because he’s really really really cute!! (even nowadays) There’s probably a thousand more reasons I cud come up with, but I’ll just leave it at that.(:

I just can't choose, for me I can't do it because of a mixture of guilt and my usual indecisiveness. If I pick a favorite Beatle, I feel bad for the others! I JUST CAN'T DO IT!a-hard-days-night-paul-10

I love the way you can use that as a normal adjective.
That belongs in the “You Know You're a Hardcore Beatles Fan” thread.

My favorite Beatle is George. It's mostly George because I play guitar, and so I can appreciate his part of the band more than if I didn't, because before I learned guitar, I thought that George and Ringo were the luckiest Beatles, because they could've picked anyone to be the guitarist, or drummer. I was wrong though. Another reason I like George is because he's content with being in the background, and even after the Beatles, for some of his records he really didn't do much to advertise them, and that makes him pretty cool, I think. a-hard-days-night-george-8

I agree with you. I posted a comment back in December on why George is my favorite. Not sure is you read it but I pasted it below. Long live the George fans:

I love all the Beatles very much but George is my favorite because I go outside just the music realm. I always felt he was a great guitar player. (I am also a guitarist) For me, I hear his guitar playing in all the Beatles songs which in most part is my favorite part of the songs.  I feel he was very innovated with his style of playing merging east and west styles together, introducing the 12 string electric and so on.

The spiritual side of him is also very important to me. I am currently studying Hinduism and just got my first Sitar for Christmas. I am very excited to learn this instrument and have been doing Yoga since the 1970's.

He also embraced Hawaii and Hawaiian culture. I am from Hawaii and that is important to me. He learned the Ukulele and many of his songs were inspired by his time in Hawaii. One of the last things he said before he passed away was: 'Everything else can wait but the search for God cannot wait and love one another'

You are right. They are all great! George does not beat the others by very much. All of them have brought me so much joy throughout my lifetime.

That's not what fangirls in the day would have said. But that is very true. For me the looks don't matter very much but I must admit they all where very good looking in their own ways.

You said “the good bit,” which implies there's a bad (or at least not as good) bit.
