I saw a book today in the supermarket and it got my attention because the author is Senel Paz, a good Cuban writer (he wrote the short story that later was made into the fantastic film “Strawberry and Chocolate”). But that was not the thing that made me pick it up, it was the title of the book “En el Cielo con Diamantes” I dunno why but it reminded me of something.
Then I read in the back cover description : “And the characters are surrouded by Silvio Rodrigues, The Beatles…”. Then I said “Idiot. Of course. En el Cielo con Diamantes.“
You know you’re a hardcore Beatles fan when you buy a book named after a Beatles song, even if it's about a topic that you don’t really feel like reading that much.

Offline Right you know you are a hardcore fan when any program makes any remark on the Beatles and you start fangirling really hard with the flailing hands and squealing.
Like right now. So I'm watching a VH1 rock doc called “Lemmy” (Lemmy from Motorhead). Lemmy was talking about his son Paul who was in the room with him. They were talking about their relationship and Paul's mother. His mother, Tracy, loved the Beatles as much as Lemmy (who was recorded earlier in the movie trying to buy the mono box set). So I started my squealing. Lemmy was talking about she used to go out with John and I'm like what. She lost her virginity to John to which I'm like 
. The story also goes that George was very keen of her, but she wasn't really keen on him. Again my response was like . (Why would you not like George? 
) Tracy's and John's relationship didn't last because (it seemed unclear) she may have been trying to get to Paul. So I sat there like this
