While Eppy got them going and a great debt there………While Billy plays on some tracks and kept them civil to each other…….Er…… While Eric did a spectacular one-off…….and Mal Evans played anvil…..And Yoko played merry hell…….
……..GM played on a few more records than Billy…….Took managerial decisions ……for example not to focus on any one of them initially……Allowing them their way with ‘Please Please Me ‘ even though he believed in ‘I like it’……. Pivotal in the choice of early singles……arrangements…….arrangements that got more and more involved…….musical translator……musical encyclopaedia…..and resolver of musical wishes.’You’ll fix it George.
I can’t think of anyone in Britain who could have given them so much help.
