Truth be known this is only the third Beatles Forum I’ve ever been on. On the original Capitol Records Beatles message board I was known by my real name of Mike Crawley (no Downton Abbey jokes please). I also spent a fair amount of time on the message board of the Beatles Facebook page when it was active. Of course that was under my real name as well. On the Steve Hoffman Music board I go by Crawdad. I include that because an inordinate amount of space there is focused on the Beatles.
What is happening? And tell me how you've been.

Offline This is my only forum, as well, though I once considered downloading the Amino app but quickly surrendered that idea do to it looking like basically a second coming of Beatles Tumblr……

Offline Being truthful.
Way back in the beginning, I signed up on here when on another Beatles forum but remained over there and rarely was here. I was a mod, the forum was busy And I’m a loyal and lazy individual, having and being on two is far too much hard work. One day that forum disappeared and was never seen again, I honestly have no idea what happened to this day. Anyway, as that one died a death I was homeless so would occasionally read and post on here, and as the forum hasn’t vanished I have remained and posted. Again. I’m far too lazy and loyal to be elsewhere, far too much effort required. I like it here. It’s not so busy you can never catch up but not so dead that you can read the entire forum twice over twice a week just to have something to do. Plus the folk are good and there is a general acceptance of being decent, respectful and laid-back. I also have a lot of time for Joe, he’s clearly in it for his love of the Beatles above all else and lets that ultimately rule the way it goes without being some overbearing tyrant.

Ah, yes, a reminder about @Starr Shine?’s forum. If this forum goes down, we carry on over there until @Joe gets this one working again. It doesn’t happen often, but I’m sure glad that forum is there for us.

Offline Aside from SS?’s backup forum, I’m not a member of any other forum except this one.
And it’s the only one I’ll ever need.
I mean, I always have at least 4 tabs open in Chrome; this tab is always the first one open. Because this community is just so fab!
