I love Paul, but it’s a shame he shared a stage with Jay Z and Linkin Park, 2 “artists” I have less than no use for.

When I went to see U2 in Sydney about 22 months ago Jay Z was the opening act – rather an odd choice.  He tried his best but the crowd just wasn’t into it, I almost felt sorry for him.  He did come back and do a nice cameo on ‘Sunday Bloody Sunday’.

Some of the negative comments about Ringo on Ringo’s Facebook page and The Beatles’ Facebook page are really awful, just beyond rude.

By discounting Ringo in the Beatles’ success, one also basically calls Paul, John, and George idiots because if they could’ve had ANYONE, why did they pick Ringo?

So, along those same lines of thought, should we like Yoko because John picked her? Should we like Linda since Paul picked her even though we know things like this that parlance posted on the news thread:

“And this story – not a nice one at all, and take it with a grain of salt – from a Jimmy McCulloch page (I read a variation in one of the Paul bios):

On one of our off days, while in Australia, we decided to take a visit to a zoo and as we were about to leave, the McCartney’s house keeper, Rose Martin had just arrived and she was prepared for the day, with a new hair style and a camera and then suddenly Linda, in front of everybody, announced that Rose wasn’t invited. She had a list of things for the house keeper to do. I felt really bad for Rose because Linda just dissed her hardcore. Everybody felt really bad for Rose, except Linda of course. JoJo, Denny Laine’s girlfriend at the time, wasn’t really that surprised that the incident happened however. She said that Rose had told her how “lady like and gracious” Paul’s former fiancee, Jane Asher was and that she wouldn’t like to repeat the things that Rose used to say about Linda.”
