1) if i read an english text, i sooner or later hear john lennon’s voice reading it (and this CAN BE really spooky sometimes)

2) i always know how old my grandma is, cuz she is born the same year as paul mccartney… and that is how i remember and not the other way around ^^

My mom was born the same year your grandma and Paul were born. a-hard-days-night-john-6

I keep a Liverpool clock in my head. Mostly for special occasions like X-mas/New Year/my birthday, etc…

So, on Christmas eve here in Maine, it’s Christmas in Liverpool at 7PM.

First Post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not not really know if this is weird, but I always have a celebration when it is an anniversary for an album.

If children are studying the 20th century, I'm in their text books.

It seems that there is often an opportunity for inserting (a variation of) “We won’t have to write it down – we’ll remember” in a Podgy the Bear and Jasper voice into a conversation.

Only weird to those who aren’t in the know, who haven’t been enlightened to the rapture and wonder of Beatles music. Definitely not weird to this crew.

Glad that doesn’t count as weird here!! ahdn_paul_02 And I mean that literally – in the car or at home…only Beatles CD’s.  People will come in the office and talk about something they heard on the news and I won’t have heard it of course, cause I don’t listen to the radio.  They think I’m REALLY weird!! LOL

The Beatles is pretty much all I listen to also. So you are not the only one.

oh, and another one… it’s not exactly a funny thing i do, but a funny thing that happened.

so i came into a new class, wearing my beatles-shirt (it always gives me a bit of extra-confidence… well, that’s maybe another weird thing to do: wearing my beatles-shirt to special occassions to feel more confident :D ) and there was only one free seat, next to a girl who was reading. so i went over to her… and now guess what she was reading? a john lennon biography :D you can bet we had something to talk about… :D

That is a really neat story, jenny wren.

The best thread for posting this type of story so we keep them all collected is called “Beatley Moments”

If you like, you can copy and paste it over there.

Every time i think of the word ” wonderful” i immediately hear John saying “we’d like to thank you all for being so wonderful” from the ‘Blackpool Night Out’ tv show.
