Since Yoko's birthday I've had something on my mind. Why didn't John just let Yoko continue with her existing career? Yoko already had a following for her avant-garde art, film and poetry. She could have easily morphed into a multimedia artist similar to Laurie Anderson, with a perhaps small but loyal fanbase similar to a jazz/blues artist. What was really the purpose of having her join him and Clapton at Live Peace In Toronto (1969)? No one had seen any of the Beatles live in years, so why place so much pressure on her career at such an over-amped event. Don't know why I've been stuck on this, I'm probably forgetting something...

Even though I'm not a Yoko fan I'm glad she gets a lot of love on this forum. Even in these later days she gets too much abuse shoved her way.m
