I was just thinking about he chain of events that involved John Moores. What chain of events am I thinking about? If you know off the top of your head, don't answer. Let someone who doesn't know look it up and report back to us.

Ah, it's beautiful
How is it that I can always feel the love and care in every stroke of Klaus's work? Like I imagine when he draws, he's caressing a drawing into life like a sculpture more than just sketching.

Totally right, @Ahhh Girl - blame a combination of badly written Wikipedia entry that gives the impression he isn't...
Ray joined the rest of Paul McCartney 's band for the Driving Rain tour in promotion of the album. As of then, he has appeared on McCartney's solo albums, such as Back in the World, Back in the U.S., and Memory Almost Full , as well as three concert DVDs: Paul McCartney in Red Square, The Space Within US, and Good Evening New York City .
...and PWT.

I met Brian Ray at a James Taylor concert a few days before Paul came through the same venue. He was a really nice guy. I met Rusty Anderson and Abe Laboriel Jr. as well. That was a really fun week.

I can’t believe that was three ago. Wishing I could be back in front of Paul right about now.

Sad news about Astrid.
The beatles time in Hamburg is one of the most interesting parts of their story, mainly because it wasn't so heavily documented. But we do know that the relationships with the band and their German friends were intense, loving and meaningful. I always felt the group benefitted so much from their time in Germany, and not just musically where they were able to develop away from close scrutiny but as young men and artists, and Astrid was a big part of that.
The band always looked out for her afterwards, George especially loved and respected her because she gave him that bit of confidence and support when he was young but never tried to exploit her position with them in later years.
Of course you also have to factor in Stuart as well, even early on what should have been a joyous time for them all ended up being coloured by tragedy that affected them all hugely to one degree or other.
