A french interview with Pete Best in the 90s from the show “Double jeu”.
Don’t be disturbed by the atmosphere of the show, it was on TV at night so there was the “Paris by night/Folie Bergère/Moulin Rouge” atmosphere. (The intro of the show is quite representative 
) For my part, I was too young when it was on TV but it is especially known for the fact that Thierry Ardisson (the host) spoke vulgarly with the guests, which was quite subversive at the time. (And that’s why I find him unsympathetic 
).

Offline I know Pete Best is the butt of a lot of jokes and whatnot, but he was a Beatle longer than anyone not called John, Paul, George, or Ringo. He was part of the band for two years that were formative. And that’s worthy of respect.
