Thanks, LongHairedLady, and there comes the last two! (Even when not everyone likes them like the previous five).
Now, here it is the 1968 Christmas Record Remastered:
Let me take you down 'cause I'm going to...Strawberry Fields.

And finally, their seventh and last Christmas record Remastered (a little hard to swallow because of just a little too much of John & Yoko than the other three, but it has great moments like Paul’s ad-lib song ”This is to wish you a Merry, Merry Christmas”):
Let me take you down 'cause I'm going to...Strawberry Fields.

I like how they kept the fan club logo the same all those years, even though the band long ago outgrew that image.
I think at the very heart of the Beatles was their line up of Paul Bass, John Rhythm, George Lead (Guitar) and Ringo Drums; despite everything they went thru, did, and recorded (switching of instruments ie Paul playing lead) in those 7/8 years they never forgot that so the logo was always relevant.

True. When I meant “image,” I was more referring to the cosmetic look, since that logo screams 1963 and Cavern Club and Ed Sullivan appearance. At their core the Beatles were always what you mentioned (Paul playing everything he could get his hands on be damned). It’s a good thing they didn’t update it; by ’69, you’d have to add long hair on all 4 Beatles, plus you’d have to have Yoko lurking around somewhere…

Yoko in the front next to John with Paul and George scrabbling to get their hands on her throat and Ringo in the middle as the peacekeeper.

I’d go for “Christmas Time Is Here Again !.” I don’t know if it’s my favorite just because 1967 is my favorite year in Beatles history, though…
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.
Most likely to post things that make you go hmm... 2015, 2016, 2017.

’67 is fabulous and better worked out than ’66 but for Podgy and Jasper alone my vote goes to 1966’s ‘Pantomime: Everywhere It’s Christmas’. Not a huge fan of the ’68 and especially 1969 messages as it is obvious the band are not as close as before and it’s more the John and Yoko show with cameos from the others.
I agree…candles, matches!
Also, the choir director and the song they sing is hilarious, and the old Scotchmen munching on the rare cheese.

I just noticed something!
On the 1969 record, about a minute in, Paul sings a little Christmas song. It sound VERY MUCH like “Mama’s Little Girl” off Wild Life . Has anyone else noticed that before?
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

I’ve always thought 67 was introduced with “Interplanetary remix, take 444”
I think it’s Ringo who says ‘I’m in a call box’ not ‘coal’
And I think John’s scottish bit still needs some re-interpretation.
Instead of Elvis Presley……I hear, ‘I’ll be bristling to ye people’
But it’s still great to have the transcripts ……….Thankee.

A very affectionate guide from ‘Vanity Fair’ to the Christmas recordings, tho strangely cuts off with 1968.

They explain that though:
By 1968, the rot, as George Harrison said, had set in. The Beatles recorded their individual contributions to the flexi separately, as they would their normal band contributions in the next, and final, year. The enthusiasm has waned, but it’s still there in spots…
