Actor Brad Berwick - of Leave It to Beaver (1957) and Window on Main Street (1961) fame, apparently - suggests I'm Better Than The Beatles in 1965. Quite a claim. Not sure it was borne out by events.

this song seems to have a few Beatles references.
I'm A Loser 1:50 and 3:36
As within as without 2:03 and 3:48
Here Comes The Sun 2:13 and 3:58
There could even be more. The lyrics aren't the easiest to hear.

At least the 8-and-a-half minute extended version doesn't seem to have been posted yet.
Dreadfully '80s remix!!!

^And we all know that the video is the best part.
Had this one in my head earlier --
'And my brother's back at home
With his Beatles and his Stones
We never got it off on this Revolution
stuff'

Seriously. It doesn't make the slightest bit of difference what's playing in the background-- I'd gladly watch the video with one of those "have YOU been INJURED in an ACCIDENT?" commercial soundtracks playing in the background.
And to keep on topic, a song that I am sure has been posted countless times:
"Lennon's on sale again"

A song which very heavily influenced John going by events a year later.
"I told you everything I could about me, Told you everything I could" ('Before Believing' - Emmylou Harris)

That was such a long, long time ago
It was way back in '76
Our friendship formed of pure innocence
We first met in Mathew StreetWhere we heard something that would set us free
A sign stands over a door, it says
"Four lads who shook the world"
In the depths of those heady nights
The Alarm - The Spirit of '76
