Are people just ignoring 'My Sweet Lord (2000)' was not the a-side single and shouldn't, therefore, be on the list?
'My Sweet Lord ' (1971, 2002)
'My Sweet Lord '/'Isn't It A Pity ' (1970)
'Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)' (1973)
'Got My Mind Set On You' (1988)
Not sure how double a-side's were calculated in the U.S. in 1970 but there may be an argument for 'Isn't It A Pity ' being included.

I don't think we're ignoring it, but did Isn't It A Pity make it to # 1? I think only the other side did. Not positive, though.

Okay, I got that wrong. All I remember is that at the time it was the 2000 version they were playing most. And it's bloody hot. Been melting all day.
However, I'd say there's still an argument for including it, and that would be that it acknowledges George's sole achievement among them, a song returning to the top spot.

I think I'm going to remove the 2000 version from my track listing, which will return the two discs to 12 songs each. I think it's right that the # 1 was My Sweet Lord ...the B-side is the 2000 version.

It was a great listen until I hit Ebony And Ivory , then it went downhill.
I might delete the last three McCartney collaborations. I'm glad I heard them, though.

Have heard 'GMMSOY' a few times when out and about recently and I think it's pretty cool that George has the first and last #1 singles. It's also quite nice (tho not for the reason why) that if we include re-issues 'My Sweet Lord ' is first and last (ignoring any collaborations or charity appearances, if there have been any).
