Hey @johnnyrhythm , welcome!

Thanks for posting the video - it was mentioned here, without the video.

It'd be fab to hear the whole thing one day, I agree...

My post includes all the relevant information regarding each of the tracks, too.

But the actual audio is what everyone should dig into.  As I write, what we hear is really exciting stuff, and in very good quality.

Cheers for that, very awesome stuff!

It's unfortunate the original mention is buried in a single post on page 181 of a pinned topic.  Very few will see it.

Such finds deserve their own topic for all to enjoy, don't you agree?

I would agree that it is an important enough moment in their career to warrant it's own thread.john-lennon-salute_gif

I'm afraid I couldn't disagree more, @johnnyrhythm.

It is preferred if items such as this are posted in the Beatles News thread (which this already had been), as Joe said when he started it:

I'm starting this rolling thread to try to limit the number of one-off threads that are getting started. If you have any news, post it here (with a link to the article it comes from, ideally).

The news thread is regularly visited by almost everyone who is familiar with the Fab Forum. Unfortunately one-off threads like this one disappear very quickly because there isn't actually that much discussion to be had about it. The news thread serves us very well for items like this.

Lots of threads with only half-a-dozen posts is something we try to avoid here.

Sorry to sound like a Blue Meanie... but you did ask if items like this should be in the Beatles New thread or a thread of their own.

I've moved the thread into here which was meant to capture all the newly found material that turned up but never did. Other items are elsewhere, either in their own threads on the forum or in the news thread. Maybe it defeats the points raised.

New material keeps popping up and it's not very tidy having everything scattered so this thread is more to the point than a generic news thread which captures everything.
