I figured as much so I just ignored it 
I have no qualms about ignoring requests by the way; as I said, I only take them if I’m feeling charitable. 
As for drawing that kind of imagery, I’m thinking of doing an ‘Echoes’ piece… watercolours perhaps. But that’s not Beatley so I’ll shut up now 
I’m working on a bunch of George sketches because y’know… I’ll put them up w hen I finish them.

Well lads, it looks like I’ll not be able to put them up on his birthday like I planned; I’m almost but not quite finished with them so I’ll scan them first thing tomorrow and we can pretend it’s still his b’day. Sigh.

Offline And HERE THEY ARE!!!! 
So for these sketches (which I drew over a couple of days in bits and pieces) I was going for a looser, less painstaking, more whimsical style. I don’t know if I quite achieved the ‘less painstaking’ bit 
but these are certainly less detailed than my usual portraits. Most of them were drawn from imagination or my recollection of various pictures I have seen (and I’ve seen quite a few), rather than directly from photographs.
Still jealous of Kermit the frog.

Offline I’ve decided to tackle another George portrait, to get back in the swing of it (I haven’t done a proper portrait in a while, just sketches). I didn’t realise how much I’ve missed drawing the dear man.

I may have made him a bit too pretty 
and also, I picked a really weird perspective to draw him from so it may be a bit wonky, but I got the Georgeness down pretty well so I don’t care. The photo I drew it from was an AppleScruffJunior-avatar wonsaponatime. (RP)

Somehow I missed these when you first published (maybe it was when my mum was in the hospital). It’s fun seeing your interpretation of some familiar pictures (also pretty brave to tackle the sitar). This is a nice addition to your previous Lennon montage. Perhaps Paul is in the works for June 18th
