Hey, everyone. National Novel Writing Month is an initiative that takes place every November to inspire people to write the story that's inside them. I've been taking part on and off for ten years, and it's always a thrilling and scary and utterly rewarding and fulfilling experience.
I've been kicking around a Beatle fanfic idea in my head since last year, and now that I've graduated, I have some time and I've been hit with inspiration. So I'm going to take part in the summer counterpart of the program called Camp NaNoWriMo. The organization behind this is non-profit and depends on the kindness of strangers to keep going. So I'm asking you to sponsor my novel. If I can get 20 people to contribute just $5, I'll make my fundraising goal.
Here's some information about it:

Thanks in advance for your support!

Oh, wow, thank you! That was a nice message to come home to. Thank you!
And if you ever do decide to write a story, NaNoWriMo will always be there. :->

"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

It's just after midnight, and I made it to 19,617 words. Not the 25,000 word goal I'd intended, but a respectable amount given the unforeseen work commitments. Most importantly, I have a beginnings of a novel that I will continue working on. So thank you again for your support, everyone!
I now return to my normal Smile of Smug Satisfaction avatar. ;-D

Thank you, thank you! It's a weird one, so I don't know how soon I'll be sharing it. But so far, it's shaping up to be one of the best stories I've written. It's worth developing, for sure.
