Hi all. first post…. I went to a little village auction, not far from where I live in rural Herefordshire, a few months ago, and whilst perusing the lots, I spotted a copy of the Help ! novelisation paperback. On closer inspection, there is a dedication in ballpoint to someone called “Blossom” to “get well soon from Victor” all in capitals, and on the opposite page there are apparently the signatures of the Boys .
My wife was going to include it as a bit of fun with a Beatles talc she is selling on E**Y, until she realised the Victor could be Victor Spinetti, who was born not too far from us in Monmouth, so we’re not so sure about selling it with the talc now.
Is there any Beatles fan in the forum named “Blossom from the Welsh Borders, who wasn’t very well in 1965? and received a book from Victor Spinetti? I expect there are hundreds!
It’s intriguing.
