Hi all,

I have recently acquired a seven inch promo copy (Demonstration Record) of Hello Goodbye /I Am The Walrus .  It’s in pretty good condition with a few non feelable surface marks and a wee bit of surface noise.  I’m going to clean it today with my Spincare machine (best forty quid I’ve ever spent) in the hope that will lift the soundstage a wee bit.  I have what appears to be the original promotional sleeve with one or two small tears.

I’d love to be able to keep it but COVID job loss means that I need to sell, but I’m finding it difficult to value.  There are three copies currently on Discogs valued at £1700, £5000 and £6500. The lowest value seems about OK to me but I have seen other copies sell historically for around £800.  Any advice on what the market will sustain would be gratefully received so I can get it on E-Bay and pay my rent.

Thanks

You could always put the price at £10 and sell it to me.ahdn_john_08_gif

In all seriousness, you could just do an auction on eBay and start it at £800 or £1000.  If it doesn’t sell you could just do a buy now listing at a flat £1700 or something like that.
