Pete was alright. Seems a nice enough fella. What do you have against him?

After all, the way the boys treated him, he proved to be a right gentleman, didn't he?

Perhaps Sunii is really Paul or Ringo…

He just never clicked with me, either.  Maybe it's because we never got to see his personality, really.

He was very clean.

Not a bit like Cagney.

He played the drums fairly well, but he wasn't a good Beatle, if you know what I mean.

I think that's the usual stereotype of why he wasn't a Beatle later on- maybe even a cop-out. I think in general the guys appreciated Ringo a little bit more for his humour and laid-back attitude, not to mention a way with the skins, if ya know what I mean. 😀

He seemed nice enough and almost single handedly got their career Off The Ground thanks to his drums and his ol' mum. If it weren't for the drums, they probably would've missed the biggest opportunity of their career.

Tongue, lose thy light. Moon, take thy flight… see ya, George!

Well we've said it on here before: Pete has 100% total respect from me because he has NEVER spoken with malice, tried to sell his story with sordid details, nothing…..so when he got his big windfall with the money from Anthology I thought “Good on you Pete, you deserved that”.

The reason I don't like Pete Best is because it never looked like he had as much personality as Ringo. I am glad they replaced him with Ringo.

Are you referring to me as Paul or Ringo? If you are, I am quite flattered:)

If you're Ringo, will you marry me? 😀

HA!Laugh Sorry, child. But I am no Ringo. I may act like him in some ways, but I am a 13-year old girl, not a man in his seventies.

I would probably ask him to marry me too if he was on this site. Ringo is undeniably the cutest thing on Earth and his personality cannot be beat!:)

But would the real Ringo admit to being Ringo? Wink

Back on topic, I don't have a real opinion of him one way or another. I do like Ringo. Pete got a bum deal but I don't think anyone could have predicted that it would get as big as it did.

Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

Miine's from Help ! as well. It's my all-time favourite photo of The Beatles.

Yeah. Help is a great film but my favoite has got to be Yellow Submarine . It just has the best songs on it. Hey Bulldog ,although not featured on the american version of the film, is a great song. But one og the best on the movie has got to be Nowhere Man . Just Brilliant!
