Zoom In or Change The World
Listening to both “Zoom In, Zoom Out” and “Let’s Change The World” singles right now, for the first time. I loved how Ritchie Snare opens “Change” with an attention-getting drum bit almost identical to “Rain “, to match the lyric’s references to rain, but nothing else really stands out in the song. “…Zoom Out” I like much more, lyrically, and musically as well, so that’d be my choice…if the question was between the two songs, rather than the two EPs, so lemme experience them in full and I’ll be back to finish this post before you can slice an apple in two
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

…ok, I definitely prefer the material on “Zoom In”, although that line in “Change The World” about “half-unfinished songs” is a clever Ringoism.
“Ask Me Why ” or “Tell Me Why “?

StrawberrySaucePaul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.
