‘OANS’. The sound of Ringo’s drums is superb and all the weird oddities help make it into a fun track; if listening to ‘IATM’ give me the full 8-minute version as why listen to just 6 minutes, might as well go all-in and revel in it all.

Reworked/rejected solo albums – ‘Red Rose Speedway ‘ or ‘Somewhere In England ‘?

If we’re talking about the rejected versions, definitely Somewhere In England .

I would say Press To Play , only because I have heard that Off The Ground is a little bit preachy, and Paul drops an F-bomb (to prove something?)

For Beatles For Sale , it was going to be either Mr Moonlight or Leave My Kitten Alone , so which would you have kept?

While I do like Mr Moonlight , Leave My Kitten Alone couldn’t not be my choice; it’s got great energy, and it’s beyond catchy. I’m scratching my head at how it didn’t make it on in the first place.

I’m Looking Through you, that song gets better with each listen.

Beatles posters or Beatles T-Shirts?

I have Beatles Posters (some of course from albums, but my favorite is the Royal Command Performance advert in 1963), but I cannot say I have ever had a Beatles-related T-Shirt, even in my 20s or 30s, so I guess Poster wins for me.

The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Beatles Channel revealed the final votes for the top 100 Beatles Songs in 2021 this weekend. the 1990’s single releases both made it,

Free As A Bird at number 87

Real Love at number 82

Agree or disagree? Which is better?

Are they expecting more Beatles.songs in 2022?

Depends on the mixes. If the ‘1+’ remix of ‘Real Love ‘ then that as the ’96 mix is lousy.

Beatles idols. Chuck Berry or Carl Perkins?

Sorry, I could have explained better. They do an annual poll of their paid listener-ship every April for a person’s top 10 favorite songs, and Peter Asher hosts a show in count-down style from 100 to number 1 for that year’s poll results.  Since he was actually a friend of the group, he had some interesting stories along the way.

As to the two Beatlethings, please overlook my response here and answer vbt

Fifteen year old me says, John. Thirty-five year old me says, Paul.

The opening chord of A Hard Day’s Night or the closing chord of A Day In The Life ?

George’s. I like it a lot more.

Ringo Originals

George’s ‘It Don’t Come Easy’ or John doing ‘I’m The Greatest’?

Hate to let my man Ringo down by saying Andy White, but his cymbal crash after the harmonica break was a very nice touch that added to the song. (Which Ringo would become expert at, beginning with their next single.) Anyways, the esteemed Mr. White gets my meaningless vote here and only here, sorry Ringo (still luv ya).

OK, Ringo intros: “Tell Me Why ” or “What You’re Doing “?

(…and as always, detailed answers are encouraged! paul-mccartney

R on ‘WYD’. I have always been in adoration with the drum intro to the point of it being the sound of my text message alert. I can also repeat it for an age and never get bored.

Paul and the ram. It kinda fits Ram ‘s quirky vibe.
