Did you eat cake on your most recent birthday?

Nope, my best friends threw a barbeque party for me and we ate tons of beef, some salad, smoked pipes and cigars and drank wine and beer.

Have you ever had a pet that actually annoyed you? Because I have this cat, he sprays everywhere to mark his territory, he has bitten me, he doesn’t purr if I caress him, and… I cannot get rid of him!

I thought you were a carnivore!

I’ve loved the two cats I’ve had, but they were both girls. You don’t have to worry about spraying with female cats which is obviously a major perk.

How’d you find the forum?

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

Yes, food tastes too good.

I am. Very much so –but one of my friends made the salad and it was really good. He’s Italian and can cook really well.

More than a band, a man: Sting, with The Police and solo.

Question: second favorite 60’s band? (Mine? The Doors)

Uh… I fear death, poverty, and loneliness, but I don’t know if those are irrational fears… I’d call them instinctive fears. If you’re talking about phobias, I have this thing about spiders…

A yet unfulfilled dream?

Those are all rational, spiders is along the lines of what I was looking for.

Terrified of windows and mirrors at night when I’m by myself. Imagine an unidentified face creeping out from the corner, slowly stretching its mouth into a sadistic grin, and there’s nobody there to call for when it’s murdering you.

I’m sorry, I watch way too much television.

An amazing sense of humor and the ability to show it. I’m as dull as a piece of white bread (and dull as so that I actually used that cliched phrase)

What would you do differently in high school, if given the chance? (If you’re in high school, use middle school instead)

Nothing. Time has granted me the serenity to accept the things I couldn’t change, and the courage to change the things that I still can. However, at this almost senile age, I do feel remorse for things I did and didn’t do as an adult.

Tell us about a big disappointment in your life.

My experience of being a school teacher. From the age of 5, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. When I actually became one, I was quite disillusioned. For some crazy reason I thought most kids would have been like me and wanted to learn and do good in school. Nope. And, the politics…and the uncaring parents…uggg.

Do you know what it’s like to listen to your fears?

They get hooked onto the horn of a unicorn and spirited away into the ether. When the sun shines they shrink and fall back to earth, where leprechauns collect and sell them to be turned into loom bands.
