I assume it’s a periodic table of elements, and the Beatle’s favorite element was sodium.

Good suggestions from Neely and Lucy, and I’m awaiting Bullfrog’s answer to be moderated.

Thanks for that, @Richard. The system was telling me there was another post to approve, but none of the threads were in red so I didn’t know where to look.
Welcome to the Fab Fourm, @Bullfrog. I hope you enjoy the fun we have here. Let me know if you have any questions about how the Forum works.

I get these notifications sent right to my email.
I’ve considered the use of a periodic table, and the purpose is to “search up” an element, as sorted by numbers…
You Know My Name (Look Up the Number) seems to fit that Bill…
I log on usually in the evening, so see you then! Gotta go!

OK, I’m not sure which part of this you’ve typed incorrectly, Richard; but of course the blue years would actually be 1967-70. But until you clear that up, I’m just gonna make my guess under the assumption (possibly incorrect) that you meant to write “red years”, and that your song is one from 1966: “Yellow Submarine ” (“Full speed ahead, Mr. Bo’son, full speed ahead!”)

Oops, I’m sorry about that, and your assumption is correct, Von Bontee: I meant to write “Red years”.
I like your great suggestion, but unfortunately it’s not what I have in mind.

Thanks Richard, but it turns out my own answer was not without an error; it seems that the usual sailor-slang-speak way of spelling “boatswain” is in fact “bo’sun” or “bosun”, but never “boson” or “bo’son”

Based on it’s definition, the STANDARD MODEL describes 3 of the 4 fundamental forces.
Therefore, the Beatles song in question would have to be A) pre-1966 (inclusive) and B) sans a member
There is a handful of guesses, and I’ll pick:
Love Me Do (no Ringo on drums, originally)
