Not sure, but I think that dino may be “Littlefoot” from 1988’s “The Land Before Time” animated feature film. And if the character’s feet were small enough to earn him his name, then they’re maybe also small enough to be dwarfed by a chip on Littlefoot’s shoulder.

Offline Hey @vonbontee Close, it’s from The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving. I’m not sure if Spielberg & Lucas were involved with the sequels (to me the animation isn’t as good as #1). Here is the scene; the dino trapped in the tar pit is named Hyp.

Wow AG, I had no idea. I’m gonna plan a trip! 
The museum in La Brea is really cool. All the skeletons are from the immediate area. It makes the experience a lot more intimate. (Plus my grandpa took me there when I was a little kid).
