 I made a conscious decision when I started this game as to what to include, realising the absence of MMT might raise eyebrows. The reason is simple, the title of the game. The albums in the list are the albums released by them in the UK, and as put together by them (to varying degrees), while they existed as a group. Like it or not, MMT was not released in the UK until 1976. Were this list about their “canon”, then surely it should also include Past Masters . That was not my idea for this game. I understand those feeling the absence of MMT, I myself miss it, but it could not be included because I chose to only include the albums released in the UK between 1963 and 1970, with the one exception of A Collection of Beatles Oldies… because it was an EMI thrown together compilation that is now almost forgotten. In many ways, that has a far stronger claim to being on the list than MMT.

Congrats, on taking out the 2nd album, Egroeg! Would’ve been what I would have chosen too, and would’ve done, but I did not want to be seen as the person taking out albums. Especially since I started this! It wouldn’t look good if I was the one to take out the first two albums. One thing you should have done, and I will add it to my list – 10th: ??? (Your choice!). Though the die is cast!

Just so people know, there will be a change when we reach our top five albums, be prepared to be shocked. I said back at the beginning I reserve the right, and I’ve always had plans to make this different to the Rockers version. I don’t want the deadlock that game has turned into. It may be that I remove the voting rule I put in here (unlikely), or else throw A Spaniard In The Works. I have a plan!!!

I almost feel like giving a Bond villain laugh! If I knew how to spell it. Something like, Maw-ha-ha?
