@TheOneBeatle I just love them all, I definately prefer some, but it’s hard to use the word favorite. I have to split them up ito categories, for example this is my second favorite early Beatles album, after AHDN and it’s pretty close, amazing first album.

Offline So true, Kite. A Hard Day’s Night is one of my favorites too, being the only full Lennon-McCartney album, even the songs with very weak/rushed lyrics are disguised with great music (When I Get Home , I’ll Cry Instead , Tell Me Why ).

Really! The lyrics to some of them are rushed and weak, but the music is so good and the way they sinit’s hose lyrics is so amazing that it has you singing along without questioning the words at all.

That one couldn’t hide behind the music, but while it is definately a rushed line I’ve always liked it. Now a lyric I’m curious about is from I’ll Cry Instead : I’ve got a chip on my shoulder that’s bigger than my feet. I remember that the chip on my shoulder saying had to do with carrying wood or something (don’t remember where I remember it from), so wouldn’t you assume the wood is bigger than his feet already, otherwise it be a very small peice of wood, and does that mean that the chip is only as big as his feet? That’s not too big so does that mean its not that big of a grudge? I’m obviously reading WAY to much into this, but that want at I think about when I hear that line.
I probably put more thought into it than John did…
