That’s George’s cryptic reference to the whole “jelly babies” thing. Onstage, while facing a constant shower of confections, George’s would regularly snatch a fallen candy or two from the stage floor to fling back into the crowd. But he was usually too busy playing guitar, and therefore only managed to return-fire a single jellybaby for every nineteen that hit him.

Offline The unedited version of the Nutopian National Anthem is four seconds long. By removing the last few seconds from the album’s previous track (i.e. Bring on the Lucie (Freda Peeple) John and Yoko created another sound collage inspired by their favourite bits on Paul McCartney ‘s latest LP.
The final second was later cut, because it didn’t fit, and added to the end of the tape. It became a hidden track at the end of the album.
