The notorious grifter known as Pattie “Long Con” Boyd. For the record, the schoolgirl filed a complaint after discovering she was played.

In the movie Help !, why was Ringo being pursued?

STARR WARS

Episode IV: Help!

It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire.

During the battle, Ringo Starr managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the DEATH STARR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.

Pursued by the Empire’s sinister agents, Ringo Starr races home aboard his starrship, custodian of the stolen plans that can save his people and restore freedom to the galaxy….

Just who do these Beatles think they are, anyway?

The following people thank Von Bontee for this post:

Ahhh Girl, Ron Nasty, SgtPeppersBulldog, WeepingAtlasCedars, Necko, BeatleSnut, Beatlebug

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

The hole. He can be heard playing it in Dear Prudence and Back In The USSR for example. However, he doesn’t get credited officially for playing the hole because of the fear the authorities could find out Ringo was the one who placed the 4000 holes in Blackburn. That would be expensive.

What does ‘faah’ as Paul said at the beginning of I Saw Her Standing There really mean?

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

It stands for “Fresh Aubergines [are sold] At Herefordshire [markets]”, one of many ways the Beatles used hidden advertising in their songs.

What other examples are there?

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds ‘, thought by many to be about LSD, was actually a hidden advertising campaign for Larry’s Salve Dressing. Unfotunately for Larry, it was hidden a bit too well. He went out of business shortly thereafter when The Rolling Stones used ‘She’s A Rainbow’ to subliminally advertise Sam’s Aloe Remedy.

Who was Ringo’s personal valet and how was he hired?

To join him in a supergroup he was forming called Johnnys Be Good. The group was to also feature Johnny Winter on lead guitar, John Bonham on drums and John Paul Jones on bass. Glyn Johns was lined up to produce an album but the project fell through when they couldn’t agree who the bandleader was. (It was John.)

They played the role or customers who went to see the film and subsequently demanded their money back. It was quite prophetic of the writers of the film to include those characters. Either that or they (writers) knew it was going to suck.

If you stare at the cover of The White Album through squinted eyes, what image appears?
