Lucy and Sadie are both trying to win Dr. Robert's affection. What are their motivations. What are their tactics? Who gets him?

Ahhh... good one. Gets the mind-cogs whirling, as @StarrisonSubmarine put it (I love that phrase!). If only I hadn't just put Dr Robert in jail for life... a-hard-days-night-paul-3a-hard-days-night-george-10

Sadie is sexy, but Lucy has beautiful eyes.

- The letter/number combination stamped onto the cover of the original White Albums turns out to be critical to the first moon landing. Oh, wait. That's Into the Sky with Diamonds.

How about:

- "She" in "yes, she loves you and you know you should be glad" goes three years into the future to meet up with the "she" in "She takes her time and doesn't feel she has to hurry - she no longer needs you."  Or are they one and the same?....

If Edgar Allen Poe and Sir Walter Raleigh met, it would be in a dirty, tatty bar. They would be sitting on barstools, each nursing a cold one, swapping their down-n-out stories. Poe would whine, "I don't know why they like kickng me. Was Raven that bad?" Raleigh would respond mournfully, "I feel your pain, Edgar. I'm known around town as a stupid git." They would down a few more to drown out their sorrows, and stagger out of the bar together.

I want to name my daughter "Prudence" (Even though , my family may ask me to find some name from my country (Iran))

So If God ever give me a baby girl, I'll meet my "Dear Prudence "

I have met "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds " once in my dreams. (Oh those kaleidoscope eyes may never appear in my dreams)

I once used to talk with "The one who made me sad, I still love."

But as an unfulfilled I always want to  cheer up one "Eleanor Rigby " in my life.

Yours truly

me!

PS : Sorry If I made it childish.

Jude, full of the wisdom learned from his dad's friend, climbed the hill to deliver the message to The Fool who lives there. Jude told The Fool:

Hey Fool, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Fool, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder

The Fool has contemplated Jude's message for years trying to make the words sink in and change his world.

Okay, so this isn't exactly traditional song character tales, but it is, sort of, and I couldn't really post it to the albums because it covers multiple albums. (One bit is similar to Annadog40's tale of Beatles For Sale, side one, but somewhat different.)

So it starts with AHDN , starring the anonymous central character whom we'll call John Paul McLennon a-hard-days-night-john-6 JPM finds a girl, and asks her if he fell in love with her, would she promise to be true. She says yes; he's happy just to dance with her, and he loves her. Then the relationship goes down, and he's asking her to tell him why? Then, after a decent interval of feeling sorry for himself, he finds another girl (no pun intended, that comes later) and says money can't buy him love and if she needs him, he'll be there Any Time At All . They'll remember things they said today when he gets home. Then she starts to stray, and he tells her she can't do that, but the girl breaks his heart, and he tells her, I'll be back again.

*Beatles For Sale * He has come back, and she breaks his heart again-- this has happened once before. Well, he gets no reply, and feels he's a loser. Then his girl starts wearing black because she loves someone else who doesn't love her. But then Rock And Roll Music brings them back together, until one day he looks to see she's gone, for tomorrow may rain and she'll follow the sun. Then he goes to Kansas City to get her back, which doesn't succeed. He tries pleading with her, saying he needs her love Eight Days A Week , and wants her to whisper Words Of Love to him, and finally she comes back, and every little thing she does, she does for him. But then he loses her again, and he doesn't want to spoil the party so he'll go. Waiting at home he begins to wonder what she's doing to him, and then he looks out the window and realises everybody's trying to be his baby now.

So he moves on... and I'll do Help ! later. ahdn_george_01

A bit of a twist.

Father McKenzie is in a pub nursing a pint when John Lennon walks in. John is wearing a disguise, but Father M recognizes him anyway. The good Father looks at John and says, "I wish Jesus and I could influence the kids of today like you and your mates do."

Prudence was at the pub for a pint with her girlfriends. Sadie sat there being sexy, and Rita had just gotten off work as a meter maid and was still in uniform. Bored, the girls decided to go find Dr. Robert for something a little stronger. On the way, they meet their friend Lucy, who with her kaleidoscopic eyes looked like she'd already been to see the good Doctor. She had. And had some to share, so they nipped off to her apartment to open a bottle of wine, indulge in Dr. Roberts' wares and expand their minds.

LOL I don't know...

I wrote a story about some people... Who? well you'll have to read and find out a-hard-days-night-george-10 there are two different perspectives in the story, i put one in slanted letters and the other underlined.

I apologize in advance if you find misspelled and/or misused words... I might have made some mistakes since English isn't my first language.

I remember it as if it was yesterday…It was a rainy monday morning but I didn’t mind the rain much, I left early so that my parents wouldn’t know until I was already gone.I wrote my parents a note and left it for them to read in the morning. I remember it being very difficult for me writing that letter, leaving, however was one of the best things i could have done. I was traveling around for a few days. I met a man at the motor trade, he seemed nice and he took me to this party...

I had only just turned 18 when I first saw her. I was at a party and everyone was dancing. I didn’t have anyone to dance with so I just stood there for a while, but then… as I glanced across the room I Saw Her Standing There . We both looked at each other as if we were in a movie. I finally got the courage to walk up to her and ask her to dance. When I made my way through the crowd of dancing couples I could feel my heart beat faster and faster. When I asked her she said yes and that was the best feeling in my life. I knew from that moment on that she was my one and only dance partner,I was head over heals in love with this girl.

This Boy came up to me and asked me to dance, he was a very handsome boy too. I had been trying to catch his eye for well over an hour by the time he asked me. I said yes to his request and we danced all night long. When the party started to fade out and the music got boring we sat down and talked. That was it for the night, ultimately I guess I was too young for him. Some days later I got a call, I had forgotten it but I scribbled a telephone number on a napkin that he got. It wasn’t exactly my number, rather than the number to the motor trade. I was staying there at the time since I had nowhere to live and the man that took me to the party had offered me a couch to sleep on.

I waited a few days to see if it would go over. I thought it might just be one of those silly crushes, but NO. this was different, I could not stop thinking about her. So I gave her a call. We talked on the phone for quite a long time and we decided that we would meet up later. I took her to see a new film in town and I think both of us had a good time. She told me that she had no real bed to sleep on so naturally I offered her a bed in our house. We had an extra bed as my brother Maxwell was off to university. She was studying to become a doctor like our father.

I now lived at his place, well he still lived in his mother's house (his father being long gone). At first we were just good friends but finally, after a week or two the secret got out. He told me what I always wanted to hear, he loved me! We were always together, and when we were apart all we needed was a call from either one of us and the other would be there. It was wonderful but I couldn’t stay there forever. His mum was getting increasingly annoyed with me living there. I would try to help out at the house and I was not disliked but I knew we couldn’t keep the truth away from her for much longer. I couldn’t go on anymore. I knew if I stayed we would have to tell her and she would tell me to go home. I didn’t want to do that.

It wasn’t the same as when she left her parents. She had told me she would leave. She told me that she would write me letters. She left with the train, it was early sunday morning and the weather was nice. I went with her to the train station and waved as the train departed. She did not wave back. Maybe she just didn’t care anymore. I hoped that she did. The first few weeks she seemed to care. She wrote me letters, she sent me her love. She told me to wait for her. I waited. The best thing of them all was the bottom of the letters. It would say in very small letters: PS I Love You . Every time the postman came my heart beated a little bit faster, when i opened a letter or read a card it skipped a beat. But the letters stopped coming. I would sit and wait for the postman to arrive, when he did I would ask him to check his bag just one more time. But no. I felt like such a loser. I had lost her, she was no longer mine.

Half a year after she stopped writing, my brother was put in trial for murder. He was later convicted and put in jail. My mother had cried ever since she got that first call home. Half a year after that, she met a new man, she was happier now. I wasn't, all the people who meant the most to me had left me. I decided I could leave her with him. I wandered around for a while, but after some time I got my own place to live, on the top of a hill. I have lived there ever since, but I never speak to the people around me. They think i’m just a fool...

I still feel bad i stopped writing him sometimes. But not being near him killed me so much inside. I couldn’t bring myself to write a goodbye so I just stopped. I lived alone for a few years. I got new friends and they offered me the part of singer in their band. Later I met Desmond, he was my new love. We now have a home sweet home and a couple of kids, I still sing with the band in the evenings and I have no desire to run away ever again.

I really like how organically the songs were integrated into the narrative.

Fabulous job, @piggylane! As Starr Shine? said, the song references are quite subtle, which is far more clever than if they were just really obvious references.
