Offline You can definitely join Fiddy. That gives us 6 – I think 2 scum, 2 vanilla and 2 power roles is not too bad. I’ll put the roles through a randomiser, I’ll send everyone a PM with their roles and in about half an hour we will get underway!

Offline Interesting… That’s something that I’ve copy/pasted from previous games. I quite like the idea of role-claiming if everyone agrees, because it’s very tactical and requires some deep thinking, but
I’m not the holy grail of mafia – SS? is.

You can claim, just not quoting the role pm.
Like “Oh I’m high energy btw” but not like taking a picture of your role pm and formatting it to match the game. That is how it was on the other site,
And actually @vonflare, plays more often than I do so he can confirm weather or not.

Offline ya, you can claim your role, that’s an integral part of the game
you’re just not allowed to, like, screenshot your inbox and post that as ‘proof’
because if that were allowed, it would be impossible to lie about your role as scum since you couldn’t produce a screenshot, and the game would degenerate into whether or not the scum team is good at photoshop
also, with only 6 people, if the setup is indeed 2 scum and 4 biscuits, the game is extremely unbalanced since if we kill a biscuit today, the scum kill another one tonight and it’s 2-2, so the scum can force a win. for 6 people we’d need to change the setup for a balanced game.
We can still try our best in this game though

Offline basically scum have to die today and then again tomorrow, or the biscuits lose (unless the high-energy biscuit guesses the scum’s target correctly)

Offline I think optimal play in this situation is for the high-energy and cracknel to claim their roles, so we can narrow down the odds to 50/50 for today (eliminating the 2 power roles from the suspect pool) assuming none of the scum lie about having a power role
however if they do, it’s still 50/50 since we can then try to eliminate one of the two people who claim that role, since one must be lying

Offline Makes sense though the problem with that is fake claims which were all over the place. And even if the power role claims, what is stopping everyone from voting them all today.
