Which movie scene where the boys are singing is your favorite?

Not sure if I should count it so I’m getting it out of the way, I love the rooftop concert in Let It Be .

(Some of) My favorites
You’re Going To Lose That Girl * from Help !
A Hard Day’s Night from AHDN
Flying from MMT is quite interesting
If I Fell from AHDN
Another Girl from Help !

I love ’em all, but those are some favorites! What are yours?

*I accidentally put You’ve Got To Hide You’re Love Away for anyone who saw that. I love that scene too but meant Lose That Girl.

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

Nice thread!

Well my favourite would definitely be Ticket To Ride from HELP!

I watched that scene over and over again. I really don’t know why but I just love it.

Edit: I forgot “I should have known better” in AHDN !!! Just love that part!

From MMT, ‘I Am The Walrus ‘ and ‘Your Mother Should Know ‘ because they are so elaborate.

From AHDN , ‘And I Love Her ‘ because of its simplicity.

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

There’s a certain type of song from A Hard Day’s Night and Help ! that fills me with a good feeling, a little bittersweet but good overall.  I can’t quite pinpoint exactly what it is about them and this je ne sais quoi is augmented by watching them in the movies:

A Hard Day’s Night

I Should Have Known Better

I’m Happy Just To Dance With You

Can’t Buy Me Love

Things We Said Today

Help !

Help !

The Night Before

I Need You

You’re Going To Lose That Girl

Ticket To Ride

Faded flowers, wait in a jar, till the evening is complete... complete... complete... complete...

I Need You from Help ! as we get to see a ‘performance’ of it even tho it is just mimed – love that song.

MMT’s I Am The Walrus as every time i see it its better than i remember it to be.

John and Paul rocking the fast Two of Us in LIB .

I plan to have a Beatles movie day where I just watch all of their movies (and maybe some of the documentaries I have) sometime but I think my favourites would be:

A Hard Day’s Night

Can’t Buy Me Love

Ticket To Ride

I Need You

Blue Jay Way (for some unknown reason)

I Am The Walrus

Your Mother Should Know

It’s All Too Much (if it counts)

And of course The Rooftop Concert, that’s just savage!

There are far too many on this list, I should narrow it down but nah

I was thinking I Am The Walrus so I’m adding that to my list, I momentarily forgot about the Your Mother Should Know scene so I’m adding that, and I left out The Night Before because I thought the list was too long so I’m sneaking it in now… No one will notice…

This is why I try to avoid favorite threads because I love them all so much! I’m stopping my list here even if I forgot something!!

Oh yeah ahdn_george_06 and… And I Love Her … Love the way it’s filmed, especially the shot of the screen in the control room…

NOW Im done! Promise!

A Hard Day’s Night . I mean, c’mon, that opening is legendary.

Ticket To Ride . Because it’s fun.

I Am The Walrus .

Your Mother Should Know .

Blue Jay Way . For some strange reason, like a few other people already said as well.

A Hard Day’s Night :

[Ringo finds the theatre’s fire escape]

Ringo: We’re out!

[Can’t Buy Me Love plays as the Beatles run out the fire escape and play in a field. As the song ends, an angry-looking man confronts the Beatles.]

Man: I suppose you realize this is private property!

George: Sorry we hurt your field mister!

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

I see a couple of people mentioninig “Blue Jay Way “…that one kinda embarrasses me. Bits of it do, in a weird way. There’s an awkwardness to those shots of George sitting there, lip-syncing and occasionally looking into the camera while playing his imaginary organ. It looks to me like he’d really rather not be there.

Another Girl ” isn’t as celebrated as “Can’t Buy Me Love ” but I think it’s equally fantastic. Practically every shot has something funny or spectacular or merely interesting happening in it, both in the montage and the mise-en-scène. (#talkingoutmyass)

I thought George was a bit under the influence when doing the organ playing in Blue Jay Way .

The most memorable part of Another Girl when Paul accidently touches the young ladies boob as he pretends she’s a guitar and gets the shock of his life. His reaction is priceless.

Under the influence of what? And Paul practically went flying head over fist in shock!
