I know ALL The Beatles loved Monty Python, and George not only contributed some money, and he was also the (disguised) reporter on "All You Need Is Cash"..
I've heard on a radio interview where John mentions how much he liked Orson Welles' "Citizen Kane" and mentioned Fellini.

Paul was fond of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", altho he didn't care for the remixed "Twist And Shout " as presented in the film (with overdubbed horns)
